Chicken & garlic pie

Great pie! The cream is added at the end so the pastry doesn't get soggy, it stays golden and crusty. The perfect recipe to use some roast chicken leftovers. Ingredients:- 2 sheets of puff pastry- 1 cooked chicken breast- 3 spring onions (sliced)- 1 cup frozen peas- 1 garlic clove- salt, pepper- 1 egg yalk- 3/4 cup double cream   Preheat the oven at 200C.Place the peas in a bowl and cover with boiling water to defrost them. Chicken & Eggplant red curry

After a few weeks spent in France, I'm back in Oz! I'm very excited as I had a big crush on this country on my first stay a few months ago in Margaret River. I will now stay in Sydney until Christmas. The only downside is that I'm staying in an appartement-hotel. That means that I will have to cook with very few cooking tools. All I have is a frying pan, a small saucepan, a medium sauce pan and a big knife. I also have a boiler, an oven, a microwave and a toaster. So my first cooked meal here was last night : a red curry. Laksa

I first discovered Laksa 3 months ago, when I ordered it for dinner at Settlers Tavern in Margaret River. It's a rich coconut based asian spicy noodle soup with (in this version) chicken and shrimps. It's full of flavors and full of colors! :) This soup is as good to eat as it is to look at. I think it's from Malaysia but I'm not quiet sure, it's hard to find any info on where it is from exactly (if you know where it's from, let me know!).
